Apology Text Generator

An apology that actually apologises, without the essay.

Write what happened, like “for snapping at you yesterday” or “for missing your birthday dinner”, choose who it is for and the style, and TextAI writes the text. It owns the mistake, skips the excuses and ends with something that moves things forward.

You type

to my best friend, for forgetting her birthday dinner because I fell asleep

TextAI writes

I'm so sorry I missed your birthday dinner. I fell asleep, which is a terrible excuse, and you deserved better from me. Let me take you out this week to make it up to you, your pick.

What makes an apology text work?

Naming what you did, owning it without “but”, and offering something concrete. What makes one fail is the opposite: vague wording, a long explanation that sounds like an excuse, or an apology that turns into how bad you feel. The tool is built around the first list.

Partner, friend, family or boss?

Audience changes the whole message. To a partner it can be personal and warm. To a friend it can be lighter if the mistake was small. To a manager it is short, specific and focused on what happens next. Set the audience and the style and the same reason produces very different texts.

Text or something longer?

A text is right for everyday mistakes: being late, forgetting, a sharp reply. For something bigger, use it to open the conversation, not to finish it. For work, Apology email writes the more formal version, and Cancellation text handles the case where you need to back out of a plan.

Where it works

In the TextAI app. Write it, adjust the style if the first one is too formal or too casual, then copy it into iMessage, WhatsApp or wherever the conversation is. You can share a screenshot of the argument so it knows what it is responding to.
