TextAI is an AI texting and writing assistant for iPhone, made by Engcraft, LLC. It combines more than 220 ready-made writing tools with a custom AI keyboard, so you can fix grammar, reply to messages, change your tone, write emails and draft social posts without leaving the app you are typing in.

Add the keyboard once in iOS Settings (General → Keyboard → Keyboards → Add New Keyboard → TextAI) and turn on Allow Full Access, which the keyboard needs to reach the AI. After that, long-press the globe key in any app and pick TextAI. Select or paste your text, tap a tool such as Proofread, Reply or Change tone, and the result is written straight into iMessage, WhatsApp, Instagram, Gmail, Slack or wherever you are typing.

Yes. The Reply to a conversation tool reads a screenshot of the chat, so it sees the whole thread rather than one message, and drafts a reply that fits it. Most other tools also accept a photo or screenshot as input alongside typed text.

Yes. Point your camera at a page, a sign, a worksheet or a screenshot and TextAI extracts the text, so you can summarize it, rewrite it or reply to it straight away. Most tools also accept a photo as input.

There are 228 tools in 13 categories: writing, texting, email, social media, academic, productivity, creative writing, assistance, ideas, marketing, health and food, travel and other. They range from correcting grammar, paraphrasing and humanizing AI text to pick-up lines, dating profile bios, Instagram captions, cover letters, essay outlines and weekly meal plans.

Yes. The Assistant tab is a chat for anything the single-purpose tools do not cover. You can type or dictate, attach up to four screenshots, photos or PDFs, and the answer comes back as cards (a draft, three options, a checklist, a summary, a table or a translation) that you can make shorter, friendlier or more formal with one tap and insert straight into the keyboard.

Yes. The texting category includes Write a pick-up line, Add rizz, Dating profile bio, Conversation starter from profile, Compliment message, Icebreaker questions, Is this flirting?, Vibe check and Red or green flag, plus tools for fixing a dry text or turning down a date politely.

TextAI is free to download and includes free generations so you can try the tools. A Pro subscription unlocks unlimited use of every tool and the keyboard. Current prices are shown on the App Store and inside the app, and you can cancel any time in your Apple ID subscription settings.

The app is available in 32 languages, including English, Spanish, French, German, Portuguese, Italian, Dutch, Turkish, Arabic, Hindi, Japanese, Korean, Chinese, Russian and Ukrainian, and it can write in the language you choose.
